Replacing Shower Arm With Male Nipple
Remove old
showerhead and arm, using a pipe wrench to loosen. Turn arm counter-clockwise
until removed. Wrap threads on one end of male nipple with 4 to 6 wraps of
Teflon tape (clockwise). Start that end of male nipple into female nipple (in
wall), hand tighten, then tighten 1-2 turns (clockwise) with pipe wrench or slip
wrench. Insert fiber washers (2) into hex inlet nut of Wonder Shower, start the
hex inlet nut on the end of nipple sticking out of the wall.
Holding the Wonder
Shower by the arm, turn hex inlet nut clockwise until hand tight. Carefully
adjust crescent wrench to fit snuggly on hex inlet nut, tighten ½ - ¾ turn,
until tight. Swing shower up or down and adjust wing nuts to hold in place. Turn
the water on to make sure connection is watertight. Most Importantly, take your
time and enjoy the plumbing exercise. You will feel even better when “Standing
Under the Wonder” after installing it yourself.

Cleaning and Care of the Wonder®Shower
NEVER USE
ABRASIVE CLEANSERS OR SCOURING PADS
Brass and Gold
finishes are sealed with a clear coating to protect them from oxidation.
Using abrasives of any kind will destroy the finish, voiding the warranty.
REMOVING
MINERAL DEPOSITS FROM SHOWER HEAD
Whenever mineral
deposits begin to appear you should clean it! First, adjust the shower arm into
the downward position, rotate the shower head so the holes face the ceiling.
Spray Lime-A-Way or vinegar on your shower head with an atomizer. Let stand for
15 minutes to remove all mineral deposits. If necessary, repeat process until
all deposits are removed. DO NOT LET SOLUTION STAND FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES AT
A TIME AS IT COULD HARM THE FINISH. Note: At least once a year, remove your
Wonder Shower and soak it in vinegar or a Lime-A-Way type cleaner to help keep
all waterways clear. Rinse thoroughly before showering with it after cleaning.

Flow
Restriction
Your shower is shipped with a 2.5 gpm
flow restrictor. A white plastic disc with a small hole in the center that fits
into the hex inlet, This is not a washer and does not eliminate the need to wrap
pipe threads with Teflon tape to seal the connection. Also enclosed is a 3/4² x
1/2² rubber o’ring that can be inserted into the hex inlet in case your
installation should require it to help seal in conjunction with Teflon tape on
pipe threads, requiring less tightening.
