Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System
|
Product Features
While most
reverse osmosis systems use a 10 or 12 gallon per day membrane,
we use a 75 or 150 gallon per day. Why? While 12 gallons per day
sounds like plenty of water, it's the production time you need
to consider: it takes the 12 gallon per day (gpd) membrane over
2 hours to make one gallon of water, while it takes our 75 gpd
membrane about 20 minutes to make one gallon and the 150 gpd
membrane only 10 minutes (at 65 psi and 77° F)! Most storage
tanks only hold about 2 gallons of water, so you can see that
during heavy use times (company) you could be out of water for
some time with a slow membrane!

R/O systems are
not created equal - here’s what makes our 4-stage system a great
choice:
- 75 or 150
gallon per day
GE Osmonics® TFC encapsulated membrane (NSF-58
certified) - for fastest recovery time and high removal
rates: 20 minutes for one gallon at 96% for 75 gpd, 10
minutes per gallon at 93% for 150 gpd (@ 65 psi and 77º F).
- 1 micron
GE Osmonics® sediment pre-filter (NSF listed) - removes
sediment, rust, silt. Most competitors use a 5 micron.
- High
performance
Omnipure®
KDF®
carbon
block pre-filter (NSF listed) - removes chlorine, bad
tastes and chemicals. 3 oz. of
KDF-55®
media is "Aquabonded"®
to provide a high capacity (20,000 gallons) that eliminates
the need for an extra carbon filter stage. The
KDF® also helps protect the membrane from bacterial
contamination and degradation.
-
Omnipure® coconut shell granular activated carbon post
filter (NSF listed) - final polisher.
- Slim,
space-saving 4 gallon (*) NSF listed plastic storage tank -
large capacity but compact, no metal to dent, rust or
corrode.
- Automatic
shut-off - shuts off water when tank is full, saving water.
- Long reach
LEAD-FREE chrome-plated brass faucet with stainless steel
valve (complies with NSF-61 and California Prop. 65
standard).
-
EZ Faucet Connector
instead of typical saddle valve - improved flow, no
permanent line damage.
- Choose between
a
traditional drain saddle or new
disposal drain adapter for a trouble-free connection.
- GA Murdock®
NSF® certified quick-connect fittings make installation a
snap - rated at 150 psi at 70º
- GA Murdock® NSF® certified
polyethylene tubing - rated at 230 psi at 70º.
- Quick-connect
tee fitting included to connect refrigerator ice-maker
